Karen Hall Siegel was medical editor/writer at PW Communications, Ruder Finn Public Relations, and Data Centrum Communications before joining Euclid Consulting in 1997 as executive partner. She authored scores of articles for medical publications and has aided physicians writing articles or books. She also translated medical journal articles into patient education materials and wrote essays on health and psychology for international consumer magazines such as Harper's Bazaar. In addition she published fiction and non-fiction in The Antioch Review. Karen is trained in self-development and stress-reduction techniques, which have been incorporated into Euclid Consulting workshops. She holds a BS in psychology from the University of Cincinnati and a PhD in neurochemistry from Fordham University (in collaboration with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine). Sotiris C. Kitsopoulos started his career by teaching German and mathematics at the University of Maryland, and then electrical engineering at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He later accumulated 30 years of R&D management experience at the IBM Research Laboratory Zurich and at Bell Labs in the USA. He founded Euclid Consulting in 1989. He is a NY-State licensed SW psychotherapist and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). He has published an electronics textbook (in German), two volumes of poetry (in Greek) and scores of refereed and/or invited articles in professional engineering, management consulting and psychology journals as well as in the daily press (Neue Zuercher Zeitung). He is the recipient of twelve patents. Sotiris has an MSW degree from Rutgers University and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ). Maurice de Picciotto counsels EuCo.ch on intellectual property (IP) legal matters. He is a former Patent Examiner of the European Patent Office in The Hague, The Netherlands (the EPO), and has held various intellectual property legal positions for thirty-one years in the US as in-house counsel at Western Electric, AT&T, Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies and Avaya. At the time of his retirement from Avaya, he was the Vice President of Intellectual Property Law managing a team of attorneys and support staff responsible for all intellectual property legal matters of the company. Maurice holds a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall Law School, and is an electrical engineering graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, and is a Registered Patent Attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
